Bryan Laird
President
Bryan has over fourteen years of information technology (IT) experience focusing on a wide range of management, business and technical competencies, with an emphasis on secure design, planning, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide networked solutions and systems. He has in-depth knowledge of project management, risk management and compliance, and the system development lifecycle. He also has deep knowledge of all facets of designing and implementing successful IT Security Programs for organizations of all sizes. Bryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Webster University. Bryan is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Bryan's personal interests include reading, traveling, and exercise.
Erich Schadle
Director of Technology
Erich's background is very technical, with over 9 years experience in Windows and Unix, networking technologies, and firewall/intrusion detection systems. Erich is also an expert in incident response, contingency planning, and vulnerability detection and remediation and has supported numerous federal and commercial organizations in these areas. Erich holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Virginia Tech and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of work, Erich is a gourmet chef and enjoys home improvement and woodworking.
Danielle Shostal
Director of Client Services
Danielle specializes in Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, program and project management, policy development, and the performance of security and privacy program reviews and audits. She has supported the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Department of Treasury among other various other federal clients throughout her career in information assurance. Danielle has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from James Madison University and Master's degree in Public Policy from George Mason University. Danielle is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In her free time, Danielle enjoys tennis, cooking, and traveling.
Ryan Tappis
Director of Business Development
Ryan is an expert in Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and security engineering and implementation. In these areas, Ryan has supported numerous federal clients including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of the Interior (DoI), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences and a Master's degree in Computer Systems Management, each from the University of Maryland. Ryan is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Ryan's personal interests include golf, exercise, and scuba diving.
