We attended the Northern Virginia Family Services CARE Awards Breakfast in November. We met some wonderful people and loved hearing how other companies have implementing CARE values into their business processes. We also were super excited to be honored as a winner of the CARE Award! We are very proud of our accomplishments.
On December 17, we supported Operation Gratitude by holding a “Letter & Sweater” party – everyone wore holiday and winter sweaters and we wrote letters to military members overseas. It was a fun event!
Every year, MBL Technologies supports an organization for our holiday giving campaign. This year, we chose to support the Warrior Scholar Project, an organization in the DC Metro area that prepares veterans to enter a four-year university program by hosting a two-week, intensive preparation program. Donations fund course materials, room and board, instructors, and tutors. As a company, MBL Technologies collected approximately $1,500 in donations! Thank you to all who donated!

Everyone had a great time cheering on the participants and providing water for energy boost! It was a great sunny day to be out and about.
In response to COVID-19, MBL Technologies donated to the DC Covenant House, an organization which provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness. We also supported Team Rubicon and their wide-ranging efforts to protect veterans during COVID-19.
On Wednesday October 24th, the Community Service Group held an event at Continental Pool Lounge in Arlington, VA. This event supported not one but TWO wonderful and deserving causes: Ellie's Hats and Belvedere Elementary School. We collected TONS of warm, winter hats for Ellie's Hats & plenty of bags of Halloween candy for Belvedere Elementary School.
IN THE COMMUNITY
On September 19 we held a “baby shower” in support of the Greater DC Diaper Bank. We ate yummy snacks and played games like “Guess the Celebrity Baby Name.” We are so thankful to everyone who donated baby food and supplies for this event!
MBL was thrilled to join Red Team Consulting for their annual golf event benefiting Hope
for Henry- an organization reinventing how hospitals care for seriously ill children through innovative programs. It wasn't the best golf weather, so we are reminding ourselves that the importance of the cause is more important than our score! Thanks, Red Team for a great event!
